**** What is new in Peek-a-Boo 1.4? ****
Peek-a-Boo 1.4 ST (Special Technology) lets YOU prioritize your processes. Is your background database application not getting enough CPU time? Raise its priority. Is your background word processor sucking up CPU power unnecessarily? Lower its priority. Peek-a-Boo is the utility that finally allows you to monitor and adjust how CPU time is allotted.
**** What is Peek-a-Boo? ****
Peek-a-Boo is a shareware ($20) utility to monitor and manipulate all running processes. You can watch how much CPU time each process uses, as well as look at any piece of information available through the Process Manager, sorting them by a variety of attributes.
Peek-a-Boo lets you open CPU history windows to track how much processor power a process uses.
Logging windows can be opened, too, to watch memory and processor usage, optionally saving the information to a tab-delimited file for further analysis.
